Phase II: Mixed-Use

Located just west of Blue Star Highway along Center Street in the heart of Douglas, The Centre Collective is designed for connectivity in a 21st-Century environment. Each design detail is intended to accommodate individual needs while cultivating a sense of belonging and happiness.

Residents and visitors alike will benefit from modern apartments, amenities, retail and office spaces seamlessly integrated into Saugatuck/Douglas’ existing walking and biking paths.

Timeline

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION

    We received final site plan approval from the City of Douglas City Council in August 2024 for the residential phase.

    Commercial plans have been approved but will need to be renewed.

  • PHASE I: SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL

    Fall 2024 - Summer 2025 (estimated)

    Infrastructure improvements and utility connections will lay the groundwork for single family home sites. Home construction may begin as early as Fall 2024 for sites along St. Peter’s Drive. The remaining sites may begin construction once infrastructure is completed.

  • PHASE II: MIXED-USE

    Spring 2025 - Fall 2026 (estimated)

    Four mixed-use buildings will be phased into the construction schedule featuring studios, 1, and 2 bedroom residential units and retail opportunities for local businesses.
